The hike leads through a wild, scenic valley to the famous Abudelauri Lakes — a stunning trio of colored lakes: one green, one blue, and one white, each more magical than the last. The hike to Abudelauri Lakes starts from the small village of Roshka, located about 3 hours' drive from Tbilisi. From Roshka, the trail gradually ascends through alpine meadows and rocky terrain, following a visible footpath surrounded by mountain peaks. The distance from Roshka to the lakes is approximately 4 kilometers one way, and the hike takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the lakes, depending on pace. The trail is moderate in difficulty, with a few steeper sections but no technical climbing required. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of the Chaukhi massif and wide open landscapes. At the end of the trail, you’ll find the three Abudelauri Lakes, each with its distinct color: green, blue, and milky white. After spending time at the lakes, the return hike follows the same path back to Roshka.

This moderately difficult hike takes approximately 5–6 hours round-trip, with some uneven and potentially wet terrain along the way. The trail reaches an altitude of around 2,800 meters
There are no shops or restaurants along the trail, so please bring your own lunch and snacks. If needed, your driver can stop at a supermarket on the way to help you prepare. Bottled water will be provided. We recommend bringing sandwiches, fruit, nuts, or energy bars to stay energized during the hike.
