About this tour

This day tour packs three different worlds into one adventure from Tbilisi. It starts with a drive through open landscapes to Tsalka Canyon, where the newly built Diamond Bridge stretches above dramatic cliffs and offers views that don’t need editing. The walkways are not for the faint of heart—but perfect for those who want a fresh perspective on Georgia’s wild side.

After the canyon, the route winds back toward the capital, with a detour to the quiet ruins of Kojori Fortress. Set high on a ridge above the forest, it’s a spot locals visit for fresh air, history, and open skies. With your private driver-guide, the tour stays flexible—so you can hike, take your time, or stop for a bite along the way.

This isn’t a tourist checklist. It’s a well-paced journey through space, height, and history—just an hour outside Tbilisi.

Highlights

  • Glass under your feet, wind in your face, and 240 meters of open air below. The Diamond Bridge isn’t for show—it’s for guts and photos you don’t fake.
  • Kojori Fortress isn’t polished or perfect—it’s raw stone, wide skies, and the kind of view that makes you want to stay a little longer than you planned.

Included/Excluded

  • Private transportation with a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle
  • Services of a licensed, knowledgeable guide throughout the tour
  • Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages during the trip
  • Entrance fees and cost of activities
  • Gratuities for the guide and driver (optional, based on satisfaction)

Itinerary

Diamond Bridge

The tour begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Tbilisi. After a 1.5–2 hour drive, we arrive at Tsalka Canyon, home to the famous Diamond Bridge—Georgia’s highest glass skywalk. You’ll have time to walk across the bridge, explore the canyon trails, and take in the views. The area also offers additional glass platforms and a short hike along the edge of the gorge. Time on-site: approx. 1.5–2 hours.

Kojori Fortress

After the visit, we stop for lunch or snacks (optional, depending on your preference), then begin the drive back toward Tbilisi with a detour to Kojori Fortress. Located just 30 minutes outside the city, Kojori offers a short uphill walk to the ruins and panoramic views over the surrounding forest and valleys. It’s a peaceful final stop before returning to Tbilisi in the early evening.

Nature, History & Zero Stress – Loved It!

I was traveling solo and joined a private tour to Dashbashi Canyon and Kojori Fortress through 11 Regions. Everything was perfectly arranged – transportation, timing, and even water bottles were provided. The canyon was absolutely magical, and walking on the glass bridge was thrilling! Kojori was more peaceful and historical, a nice contrast to the canyon. Dito, my guide, gave me so much context about the sites. I felt safe, inspired, and well taken care of.

Perfect Day Trip from Tbilisi

We traveled as a couple and loved this day tour! Starting early from Tbilisi, we first visited Dashbashi Canyon – it's even more impressive in person than in photos. The hike was manageable, and the views were worth every step. Later, the stop at Kojori Fortress gave us a taste of Georgian history with a peaceful mountain setting. The tour was well-paced, and our guide Mamuka was a great storyteller. Definitely book this if you want something unique near Tbilisi.
