Your rafting adventure in Pasanauri begins right at the river base, where professional guides will welcome you and provide all necessary equipment—helmet, life jacket, paddle, and wetsuit if needed. After gearing up, you’ll receive a detailed safety briefing and short paddling instructions to ensure everyone feels confident before hitting the water. Once ready, you’ll launch into the Aragvi River and paddle down a scenic route filled with gentle rapids and mountain views, navigating waves as a team under the guidance of your instructor. The experience lasts around 40 minutes on the water, after which you'll return to the base to change, relax, and relive the thrill of your ride
This rafting experience is usually combined with a tour to the Kazbegi region, as Pasanauri is located along the main route. If you're already traveling to Kazbegi, it makes a perfect stop on the way. Alternatively, a private transfer from Tbilisi or any other location can be arranged upon request, but please note that transportation is not included in the experience price.
The Pasanauri rafting route is beginner-friendly and does not require prior experience. The rapids are moderate, and all participants are guided by professional instructors. Anyone with basic fitness can fully enjoy this adventure.
